Plus sized women around the world adore Gok Wan for showing them how to accept their abundance and make it work for them! He is a fashion stylist who has made it his life mission to make women feel better about their bodies. If you are struggling to find the right clothes and styles to suit your physique, Gok will show you the answers. He will cover every aspect of fashion to suit shapes, and even make sure that your shapewear, or undergarments are up to the job, so that you will feel as Gorgeous as he says you are! I have been meaning to make a page about Gok ever since I first saw his TV show "How to look good naked" but haven't gotten around to it til now, but better late than never! On this page I will introduce the novice to who Gok is, and what his background is, as well as feature some of his fashion guides, and the things you need to complete your transformation. Gok Wan was born on the 9th of September 1974, (he was christened as Kwokhyn Wan) and is the youngest of three children, to Myra his English mother and Chinese father John Tung Shing Wan and comes from a working class background in Leicester. He is 6ft 1in and still a very young man in his late 30's who started out studying drama at London's Central School of Speech and Drama. This fascination transferred over to a love of Beauty, starting in Hair and then Make up and finally to his true love of Fashion Styling. And we are all so very grateful that he went down this fashion road! Many famous celebrities have made use of Gok's styling services and he has worked with some of the worlds best photographers as well. He has become a popular icon for the rest of us to learn from because of his TV shows: "How to Look Good Naked" and "Gok's Fashion Fix" and has also recently published a series of books filled with sensible and useful fashion guidelines for 'real' women. You have probably already seen his handiwork without knowing it, in glamor fashion magazines like Cosmopolian, Marie Claire, The Face, and so on in the spreads he has helped to style for the photographers. Gok has also recently expanded into designing a range of Gok Wan Shapewear lingerie that is the foundation for bigger women to shape up with confidence.
