Hello everyone!  I’m Taylor Trgovac, a freshman here at the University of Pittsburgh, and I could not be more excited to be a first time intern at CollegeFashionista.  I’m originally from a small town in Pennsylvania, so relocating to a city for the next four years thrills me, as I feel I will be exposed to a whole new world thriving with diverse culture and more eccentric and bold styles. At Pitt I am studying Business Marketing and am pursuing a double minor in Studio Arts and Film Studies.  I”m hoping in the future to either work my way up to the position of an Art Director at a prominent fashion magazine, or contributing my ideas to the design team for one of my favorite brands, Free People.  Because I am a bit unclear about EXACTLY where and what I want to be when I grow up, I am allowing myself room to breathe by exploring and studying business, art, digital media and now fashion! If I had to describe my style, it would be “bohemian with an edge.”  Although that sounds like two very contradicting adjectives in one quotation, my style is my own and I work hard to give it consistency.  My free-spirited but forthright look is achieved by utilizing edgier pieces such as combat boots and black nail polish, and pairing those details with everyday boho essentials such as flowy tops or maxi skirts.  I wear turquoise rings every day of the week, and I think the best accessory is a great tattoo.  Any outfit, however, is a deal breaker for me if it is not comfortable.  A girl’s gotta be cozy to be carefree! This spring I am eager to share with you all the great styles of Fashionista/os on the ever-changing streets of Pittsburgh.  As college students, we all have enough stress in our lives, so I’m hoping that my weekly WHAT TO WEAR advice will allow for a much easier time when sorting through an overwhelming closet looking for that outfit that illustrates that you are laid back yet put together, fashionable yet unique.  I look forward to contributing my advice weekly, be sure to stay up to date!
