Brushing Tips for Longer Hair
To start with, bend forward half way allowing your hair to fall in front of you. Make sure you are using a brush with natural bristles and a wooden. Begin brushing your hair from the nape of the neck over the head all the way down till the hair ends. Afterwards, stand straight again and let the hair fall normally and brush from the bottom of the hairline flowing down the strands till the ends. After that, brush the top layers into place with long and even strokes. After each stroke, smoothen down the hair with hand to diminish the static effect.
Following every week, increase the number of strokes. Start with five strokes and add more stroke to the count every week till you reach a comfortable level. Lest your hair becomes oily more often, reduce the number of strokes.
Also, often people fail to understand that always brush your hair only when they are dry, since hair is very vulnerable for breakage when wet. Thus, brushing wet hair isn’t a good idea at all. Also, remember even when your hair gets dried, don’t move to brushing just yet; instead comb them first.
When combing wet hair, always use a comb with big tooth and watchfully disentangle your hair from end to end to acquire a smoothened look. Avoid too close a contact with your hair roots.
For those with rather shorter hair, prefer to use a Paddington brush which has soft shielding bristles while styling and blow-drying your hair to get the desired look. Learning this tip will surely bring a smile on those faces which worry about their height. If you want to give yourself an impression of a little more height, then use a pick to tease your hair.
If you have straight hair with medium length, a Paddle brush with soft protective bristles is what you need.
If you have medium length wavy bobs, prefer to use an extra large round brush to set the kinks and curls, giving them a flamboyant look.
Long hair flowing down your shoulders? For you, a thick, loose-toothed brush or a big round ceramic brush would do the trick.

Fashıon Shoes Biography

I believe in fashion it’s the top and the toes that matter, everything in the middle is a phase. So that is why it is essential for one and all to focus on these. In common man’s parlance, get shoes and make up right from day to night. Everyone must follow this, not just people in the world of fashion.
Meet Misha Bains, 28, a business development manager at a media company. She strikes deals and signs agreements all the time. She does not watch TV or read fashion magazines, but she has the recipe right. For her, power dressing is not about crisp shirts or trousers but a pair of jeans and a formal top. The clincher, however, is her shoes. She is very particular and opts for 2-3 inches high heels because she knows the right shoes suggest that she means business!
What’s power make up for her? Well great skin most definitely. She washes and moisturises her skin thrice a day. The rest includes a liner, kajal and lipstick. She swears by the kajal, “The kajal is essential as it defines my eyes while simultaneously lightens my dark circles.”
Once done with work and as her chill time commences, her heels are replaced by ballerinas, fit flops or flip flops. When she is out the lipstick is replaced with gloss and the kajal by masacara. Mascara takes precedence over kajal, it makes her eyes look fresh.
Gauri Sagar Kohli, is the Head Luxury Division at PR Pundit. She knows that there is a distinct fashion divide when it comes to day and night. “For shoes during the day I love TOD’s jellies and my haute favourite for the night is the GEO PUMP from Louboutin.”
She is beauty wise and unlike Misha has a different routine for the day and night. “My 5-minute make up for the day is my favourite Bobbi Brown Long wear gel liner, mascara, corrector and gloss. For the night it is Smokey eyes for me taught by make-up expert Eliano from Bobbi Brown, she gave me a simple tip - blend blend blend as blend is your friend!”
So whatever your routine, remember to make sunscreen your base and take off all your eye make-up before you sleep. It is important that when you begin and end the day, your skin is clean and moisturised.

Have you ever seen a girl in a really cute outfit and thought she looked great, but that something was missing? Maybe you’ve stood in front of the mirror in your dorm or apartment in a great dress and a pair of boots and still felt blah? We’ve all been there–the basics of an outfit look totally stylish, but there’s a certain something that’s off.
In cases like these, there’s an often-overlooked wardrobe essential that can make all the difference: accessories! We’re talking shoes, bags, and jewelry, all of the key players! And the best part? These additions are super easy to grab or put on and still make a huge impact on your style.
Below, I’ve listed the 5 types of accessories that every girl should own, plus tips on how to use them to make any outfit runway-worthy! Interested? Read on.
Belts
A few great, well-fitting belts in varying widths are definite wardrobe staples. Here are three different styles you might want to consider, plus tips on how to wear them:
Skinny belts in bright colors or shimmery metallics look super cute over a romper or fitted dress.
Medium-width belts that feature interesting details like braiding or a fun buckle are perfect with jeans and a tucked-in shirt, to create a tailored, more formal look.
Large, wide belts are ideal for cinching and defining your waist and look lovely over anything voluminous or oversized.
Belts – Hot Picks
Product Information: Skinny Contrast Studded Belt, Gap. Leopard Skinny Belt, Ann Taylor. Military Braid Waist Belt, Monsoon Accessorize. Gold Leaf Belt, Mod Cloth. Hook Punch Out Belt, House of Fraser.
Shoes
For those of you who are shoe-obsessed, this staple probably seems painfully obvious! If you’re not a shoe lover, however, making an investment in a fun pair of flats, classic heels, sexy sandals, and/or chic boots will really update (and finish off!) your look.
Wearing cute shoes instead of ugly-but-functional ones is much like wearing jeans instead of sweatpants: minimal effort, big style payoff! Just think of how much more fashionable an outfit would look with leather riding boots instead of Uggs!
Shoes – Hot Picks
Product Information: Sam Edelman Gigi Sandals, Lori’s Shoes. Trouser Oxfords, Steve Madden. Let’s Take A Ride Knee High Boots, Ruche. Steve Madden Midnight Blue Pumps, Amazon. Gabriella Rocha Neve Ankle Strap Ballet Flats, Amazon.
Scarves
Every fashionable girl knows that scarves aren’t just for winter anymore! This staple is great for adding an unexpected burst of color, or introducing a different texture to your outfit. Experiment with patterns, draping, and styling to create a look that’s unique and put-together.
Scarves – Hot Picks
Product Information: Miso Lace Fringe Scarf, Republic. Splendid Vintage Whisper Infinity Scarf, Twigs. Hue Are You? Scarf, ModCloth. Cream Floral Lace Scarf, Dorothy Perkins.
Jewelry
Even a single piece of jewelry can polish up a basic outfit. If you’re looking to experiment with this staple, you can find fun, inexpensive jewelry at stores such as Forever 21 and H&M. Look for pieces with intricate bead work, a pop of color, sparkly crystals, or interesting shapes to add eye-catching detail to otherwise ordinary outfits. “Signature” pieces of jewelry, like an initial necklace or statement ring, are perfect for daily wear.
Jewelry – Hot Picks
I’ll be the first to admit it: When I’m on campus, the only bag in my life is a backpack! When I have to carry around textbooks, notebooks, and my laptop, I don’t mess around. Come weekends, however, I’m all about toting my stuff in style!
Whether you pick a purse that’s oversized, crosses your body, or falls somewhere in between, there are a ton of options out there that are both pretty and practical. WIth so many choices, it’s easy to find something that complements (and adds to!) whatever you’re wearing.
Hot Picks
Product Information: Polka Dot Canvas Shopper/Backpack, Asos. Hype Naomi Oversized Clutch, Endless. Ecru Oversized Tassel Bag, Miss Selfridge.  NILA Gold Studded Hobo, PurseBoutique.com.

The British star loves fashion and enjoys dressing according to the seasons and weather.
When it comes to the winter months Alexa finds it tricky to look presentable, but shared one of her favourite outfits for the time of year.
"Cropped jumpers with high-waisted jeans," she told graziadaily.co.uk. "Because in winter, it's hard to look vaguely nice, but you could do this. Or a lovely high skirt with a cropped jumper."
She also revealed her interest in hosiery. While Alexa wouldn't be brave enough to wear certain styles she likes the appearance of them.
"I keep thinking about tights that Dita Von Teese might wear: black with the semi-seam up the back," Alexa added.
"Is that going to be a thing? I keep thinking about them. I'm not going to wear them, they just keep popping into my mind."
Lastly, the 30-year-old brunette named one must-have piece for the winter.
"Capes are very important. They can be a nightmare weather wise, but capes..." she insisted.
Alexa has made it no secret she wants to start her own clothing label in the near future. After modelling for labels such as DKNY she is keen to create her own items.
''All I want to do is design clothes. But you need loads of money to set up a label," she sighed. "It's quite complicated and I have no f**king idea how you do it. But that's pretty much all I want.''

during New York fashion week, boutique owner Laure Heriard Dubreuil was at the opening of an exhibition of fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh's work. As she toured the show, she noticed that she and her companions—blogger Garance Doré and jewelry designer Aurélie Bidermann—all had something in common with his images. "We were looking at his photos from the '90s of supermodels wearing nothing but men's shirting," said Ms. Heriard Dubreuil, whose Miami store is called the Webster, "and the three of us looked at each other and laughed when we realized we were all wearing white men's shirts too." Ms. Heriard Dubreuil added, "During fashion week, everyone looks like a peacock. And there we were wanting something so basic."

Borrowing from the boys—and men—is a time-honored tradition in which some of history's most alluring women have partaken. Katharine Hepburn wore Brooks Brothers' cashmere turtleneck sweaters for most of her life. Marlene Dietrich was fond of slinking around in the same company's silk dressing gowns. Brooks Brothers was also popular (and still is) with the East Coast boarding school set. Its double-breasted boys camel coat gained a strong following with private-school girls after it first launched in 1910. It even became part of the unofficial uniform of Miss Porter's in Connecticut, the alma mater of glamorously sporty girls like Jackie Kennedy and Gloria Vanderbilt. And Coco Chanel built an entire brand by raiding her male companions' closets, nicking hunting tweeds and cardigans, which became the foundation of her singular designs.
The tradition continues today with women, like Ms. Heriard Dubreuil, who love feminine and fashion-forward looks from their favorite women's designers, but are savvy enough to source their classics—tweed coats, crew neck sweaters and button-down shirts—wherever they find the best ones, both in terms of quality and price. That is often the men's department.

Ms. Heriard Dubreuil's menswear favorites include shirts and sweaters from Dries Van Noten and jeans from A.P.C. Ms. Bidermann likes Charvet shirts, Ralph Lauren jackets and Church's shoes. London-based stylist Caroline Sieber buys her cashmere sweaters from Loro Piana's men's collection. "The fit is better and I like the round neck and loosefitting shape," she said. Ms. Sieber would also rather steal her husband's Charvet shirts than buy the French shirt brand's women's pieces, which are darted to create a trimmer shape. She recently ordered her second bespoke suit from Savile Row tailor Anderson & Sheppard, this time in tweed, for shooting weekends in the country. She calls the first one "the chicest thing she owns," which is high praise from a woman whose wedding dress was Chanel haute couture.

While trespassing into the men's department is something canny shoppers do covertly, some retailers have recently acknowledged a demand for guys' items among female customers. Barneys New York fashion director Tomoko Ogura said she regularly singles out men's items from brands like the Elder Statesman, Lucien Pellat-Finet and Fioroni that she knows will resonate with female customers and asks the brands to cut some smaller sizes. She said the open architecture of the redesigned men's department at the Madison Avenue flagship is meant to encourage shopping with fewer perceived gender barriers.
Last fall, Tokyo department store Isetan began selling women shirts from London-based menswear label E. Tautz, whose designer Patrick Grant does double duty for 192-year-old Savile Row tailor Norton & Sons. "The collection sells brilliantly," said Mr. Grant. "It's funny because it's the easiest thing we do. We make the [women's] shirts exactly the same way we make our men's—with the same fabric and cut—except for a slightly softer collar because we don't expect women to wear ties."
At J.Crew, president and creative director Jenna Lyons said the men's cashmere sweaters are a big hit with female customers, so she often requests them in brighter colors. Two years ago, Ms. Lyons introduced a women's version of the company's popular men's Ludlow jacket. The blurred gender lines are a part of the brand's DNA, Ms. Lyons explained, recalling that, when the company was run by Emily Woods (daughter of founder Arthur Cinader ) in the 1990s, it offered unisex sizing. "Emily did this because she liked to wear men's clothing herself," said Ms. Lyons. That's also true of Ms. Lyons, a willowy 6-footer who has bought menswear all her life. "I went to the Saint Laurent store recently and found myself shopping off a men's rack because there were more sizes and everything was so classic," she said. "In my opinion, women should walk across the floor to men's if they want."
